Certain research studies have concluded that women who frequently used talcum powder correlated with over a 20% increased chance of ovarian cancer within specific control groups.
The American Cancer Society has also conducted studies that link the use of talcum powder to other cancers aside from ovarian cancer. These illnesses include lung cancer and endometrial cancer. Lastly, the International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies talc that contains asbestos that contains asbestos undoubtedly as “carcinogenic to humans.”
