Man Clinging to Life After Dangerous Crash in Marietta, Georgia

Whenever you hear about a dangerous multi-vehicle accident on the news, you expect to hear that people were injured. But nobody ever wants to hear that someone has passed away in a car crash. And it’s not much better when a victim’s family is waiting to see if their loved one is going to make it. This is what happened in Marietta, Georgia this week.

On Tuesday morning at about 1 am, a man driving a Mercedes Benz slammed into the back of Nissan Rogue. After hitting the Nissan, the Mercedes continued to spin off the road and then crashed into a utility pole. Somehow, the man driving the Mercedes survived the crash. However, he was taken to the hospital with what are considered to be life-threatening injuries. His condition is still touched and go. The authorities haven’t said if he is expected to survive.

Thankfully, there were no other people in the Mercedes at the time of the crash. The driver and one of the passengers in the Nissan suffered very minor injuries. Another passenger that was in the Nissan Rogue was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as well.

The names of the drivers and passengers have not been released. Their families are still probably waiting to be notified. There has been no cause released yet for the accident. No indication has been made that alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash. However, we’ll have to wait until the investigation is complete.

If any of the people in the Nissan suffered serious injuries, they may have a legal claim against the driver of the Mercedes. All signs point to the rear driver being at fault in this crash.
