Background and Experience
Chris was born and raised in Clinton, Mississippi. He attended Howard University, where he received a B.A. in Business, with a concentration in Marketing. After college, Chris worked in commercial real estate for several years before attending law school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While studying law at Wisconsin, Chris was the president of the Wisconsin Business and Tax Law Association, a member of Wisconsin’s National Black Law Students Association mock trial team, and an active member of the Black Law Students Association. Prior to joining Schneider Hammers, Chris worked for a firm where his practice focused primarily on premises liability, product liability, tracking accidents, and personal injury cases. Before switching to the civil practice, Chris gained extensive courtroom experience in both state and federal courts as an assistant district attorney, and later an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi. It was during this time that Chris developed a passion for advocating on behalf of victims in the courtroom. Chris is a member of the State Bars of Georgia, Mississippi, and Wisconsin.
