Background & Experience

Jason was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from the State University of New York in Binghamton, New York. Jason T. Schneider is the managing partner of Schneider Hammers. After graduating from Emory Law School in 1984, he began his legal career working in large Atlanta law firms representing insurance companies in motor vehicle accident claims, grocery stores in premises liability claims, and pharmaceutical manufacturers in defective drug claims.

Having worked on the other side of the courtroom, Jason can now use this experience to represent those injured by the negligence of others. At Schneider Hammers, he only represents personal injury victims.

Throughout his career, Jason has tried more than 100 cases to verdict and settled thousands of cases—resulting in millions of dollars in compensation for his clients. This success has earned him the respect of his adversaries and the gratitude of his clients. It has also earned him an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, which is a significant achievement that can only be earned by recommendations from one’s peers. He is also a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. He is also a member of the Nation Trial Lawyers: Top 25 Products Liability Trial Lawyers Association.

Jason is currently admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Community Involvement

While attending Emory Law School, Mr. Schneider was active in its mock trial program. Today, he continues to serve as a volunteer coach and judge in high school, college and law school competitions. He has also served as a guest speaker for civic and church groups on law-related topics, mentored young lawyers, and participated in the State Bar of Georgia’s educational programs for new lawyers. Furthermore, Mr. Schneider is a proud member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
