I would like to take a moment to give you recognition as well as words of thanks for all the great l egal advice and representation provided to me. Without you there would be no way that my case would have been settled fairly. I would like to share with you how much I appreciate all of the hard work your provided on this case. When I found you on the Internet I really did not know what to expect. However, what I got was a very professional attorney who explained to me in layman’s terms what rights I had under the law.

I was in a hit and run car accident in January 2009 at no fault of my own. The other person was at fault, and insured with a small insurance company. The insurance company was not able to find or contact the insured person. I was trying to deal with the insurance company directly on my own just wanting them to pay my medical expenses and time off work. It was becoming very difficult to work with the insurance company and they made me a very small offer of about $3,400 which did not even cover my basic medical expenses.

I finally found you in May 2009 after the insurance company gave me this ridiculous offer and I was very upset. I was in pain everyday and my lifestyle had changed because of it and the insurance company did not consider any of this. There were many times you informed me of the specific injuries that I sustained as of result of my accident which I would have never known. It was only because of your thoroughness and attention to detail that some of these injuries were discovered. I had not taken into account that there would be surgery done as a result of this accident. I would have probably settled for the offer if not for you and your law firm.

The insurance company did settle in November of 2009 for $25,000.00 which was the cap for the small insurance company of the hit and run. I still needed additional medical care and a change in job status. You informed me of my rights and explain to me that there could be additional help for me through my own insurance company for medical expenses. I would not have been aware of this myself, but you advised me of my rights and asked me if this was something I wanted to pursue.

I continued on with my medical treatment after surgery, all the while still incurring co-payment and medical expenses which were needed. I had exhausted all resources, and got all the help that was offered. However, there was still a life change for me and the pain was still there. The case continued with my own insurance company thinking that my settlement was adequate. They were unwilling to settle or make any offers saying the amount received from the other insurance was enough.

I felt a little disappointed but you told me not to take it personally. The encouragement you gave me and the legal advice kept me going. We decided to have a trial date and not simply let it go. We had a jury trial and the jury agreed in October 2012 handing over a settlement of $78,000. I was very pleased with the outcome as this was not something expected.

I would recommend your firm to anyone wanting an attorney that they can relate to on an everyday basis. You were always reachable and replied back immediately on any questions or concerns, and were always very helpful. With that said, it was great being your client. You kept me informed every step of the way, good or bad. Thank you again.

As I was in the car on the way home from having picked up a settlement check that I never expected, I heard a radio ad by an attorney making the assertion that not all attorneys are equal. Few statements are more true. And, it truly matters who you choose since the outcomes can be so drastically different depending on who you have advocating for you.

Jason Schneider doesn’t spend big bucks standing on big trucks being filmed by big cameras making big claims. Had he not been referred to me, I would have never discovered him which would have been my loss.

My story went like this. I was rear-ended on the way home from school. There was no blood or obvious injury, but my back and shoulder hurt. I received medical treatment the following day, and it was ongoing. During this process, Jason Schneider was referred to me. As he accepted my case, he made no over-the-top claims but quietly told me that he believed that I had a case. At the time, I did not have medical insurance but was advised to have surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff.

I declined at the time as the other driver’s insurance company was refusing to accept responsibility, citing pre-existing condition. To some extent, their defense was fair as I did have history with issues regarding that shoulder. However, the accident greatly worsened the condition. The insurance company’s first settlement offer months later was $12,000, of which I would have needed to settle my outstanding medical bills and attorney fees. Despite Mr. Schneider’s assurance that he’d work to make sure that as much of the money as possible came to me, it would have been a negligible amount.

And yet, Mr. Schneider presented the offer, let me come to my own decision, and did so with patience and without pressure. As I declined to accept that offer, the case moved forward. A deposition was conducted; I finally had the surgery that I needed, and today I drove home with a check that came from a 6-figure settlement.

What I so appreciated about Mr. Schneider and his representation of me throughout the process, and my case was indeed a process that spanned a couple of years, mostly due to my slowness in scheduling my surgery, was that he was consistently patient, calm, and never made unfounded promises or claims. And, he delivered, working a case that was no slam dunk. In his office today, as I briefly waited to meet with him, I had the opportunity to see accolades that he has received and read an article on a particularly large settlement that he obtained for a client and had no idea that the understated, unpretentious, but personable lawyer, that I had now known for some length of time was so accomplished.

The other startling moment came when he met me carrying my file, which had reached a height of about 8 inches, and all I could think was that I knew that I hadn’t done the work that produced an 8-inch file, but that he had. It was his hard work and diligence that generated the evidence that led to a favorable settlement and outcome for me. The attorney you choose may indeed be one of the most important decisions that you make. I am so grateful that someone referred Jason Schneider to me, and I would with great confidence recommend him to others. It will be one of the best decisions that you could make.

Money can never pay for the pain and the mental illness she went through after the car accident, buthaving you guys talking care of the case was like having angel wings over the dark times.
